Hello and welcome!
My name is Timothy Latz aka The Nightowl and I started djing in the late 1980s in the Bay Area of San Francisco.
I helped to promote LGBTQ parties for the University of California Berkeley before helping to open the Thunder Bay nightclub which was the first big queer club venue in the East Bay located in Berkeley. Moving to San Francisco, I got involved in djing after hours parties in San Francisco.
Hundreds of events and a few years later in New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Montreal and Provincetown, I headed to Philadelphia.
I would dj on Saturday nights at the local bathhouse, providing a soundtrack for the evening. After the end of the COVID pandemic, I started co-producing the Porkroll Party after the end of the COVID pandemic, where I have been a resident dj, playing a mix of club classics, disco, and other ephemeral tunes in the front room of our venue.
